Elme

Elme Glasbruk was founded in 1917 in Småland and was active until the 1970s. It was particularly known for its decorative glass, often in bright colors and with elements of optical effects, bubbles and hand-blown details. The glassworks produced both art glass and utility glass, including vases, bowls and decanters. Among the prominent artists at Elme was John Käll, who created colorful and elegant glass objects with innovative shapes. Another important designer was Edvin Ollers, known for his early influence on the artistic direction of the factory.
Elme Glassworks had a distinctive style that combined traditional Swedish glass craftsmanship with modern design, and its creations are sought-after collectors' items today.
