Anita Nylund

Anita Nylund was a Swedish designer and illustrator who worked at Gantofta Keramik in the mid-20th century. She is known for her colorful, charming and folkloric motifs that have become strongly associated with Swedish retro design.

Her works for Gantofta include wall plaques, figurines and utilitarian ceramics decorated with hand-painted motifs of people, animals and everyday scenes. Nylund's style is characterized by playfulness, clear lines and a warm expression that appeals to both collectors and nostalgics.

Anita Nylund's ceramics from Gantofta are today very popular on the second-hand market and are appreciated for their unique character, artistic quality and their clear place in Swedish 60s and 70s design.
