Flygsfors

Flygsfors Glasbruk was a Swedish glassworks founded in 1888 in Småland, known for its innovative and expressive glass art, especially during the 1950s and 60s. During this period, the factory collaborated with several prominent designers who gave Flygsfors a clear artistic profile and international attention.

Flygsfors designs are characterized by organic shapes, strong color combinations and artistic experimentation. Most famous are the decorative bowls and vases in the "Coquille" series, which combine soft lines with multi-colored glass layers in white, red, black and blue.

Flygsfors Glasbruk has come to symbolize Swedish glass art with creativity and personal expression, and its designs are today highly valued among collectors of retro and midcentury glass.
