Otto Brauer

Otto Brauer was a Danish glass artist and designer best known for his work at Holmegaard Glassworks in the 1960s. He became particularly famous for his iconic 'floor vases' - floor vases in strong, opaque colors and clean, modern shapes.

Brauer often worked with trapping techniques and bold color schemes such as orange, red, blue and green, giving his glassware a distinctive and timeless character. His designs combine function with artistic presence and reflect the ideals of Danish modernism.
