Nils Sivertsen

Nils Sivertsen was an important Norwegian designer working at the Figgjo Flint ceramics factory in the 1960s and 70s. He contributed greatly to the factory's international impact with his stylish and functional design, often characterized by a clear sense of form and Scandinavian simplicity.

Sivertsen's work is characterized by well-balanced proportions, soft lines and decoration that emphasizes utility without compromising aesthetics. He created both tableware pieces and ornaments, where form and function merge in timeless design.

Nils Sivertsen's work for Figgjo Flint is today highly appreciated in retro and design circles and represents the best of Norwegian ceramic design.
