Aldo Londi

Aldo Londi was an Italian ceramicist and designer who was the artistic director of Bitossi Ceramics in Montelupo Fiorentino from the 1940s onwards. He is best known for his iconic *Rimini Blu* series, which has become a signature of Bitossi's production.

Londi's work is characterized by deep blues, embossed surfaces and geometric patterns. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design, he created vases, sculptures and dishes with a strong visual identity and unique texture.

Aldo Londi's work has had a major influence on Italian ceramic design and his pieces for Bitossi are now internationally sought-after collectors' items of high decorative and artistic status.
