Carl Harry Stålhane

Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920-1990) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer, mainly active at Rörstrands Porslinsfabrik, where he became artistic director in 1958. He is known for his elegant, austere forms and experimental glazes, especially in stoneware. Stålhane combined traditional craftsmanship with modern design, creating both functional ceramics and unique art objects. In the 1970s, he founded his own ceramics workshop, Designhuset, where he continued his innovative work.
