Arthur Percy

Arthur Percy (1886-1976) was a Swedish artist and ceramicist, best known for his work at Gefle Porslinsfabrik, where he was artistic director from 1923 to 1958. He played a crucial role in modernizing the company's production and made Gefle one of Sweden's leading porcelain manufacturers in the 20th century.
Arthur Percy combined simple, elegant design with vibrant glazes and stylized decorations. His work is characterized by soft, harmonious forms inspired by classicism and functionalism.

Popular tableware such as Rubin, Vinranka and Atos, which had both decorative and functional qualities.

He also created unique vases, dishes and sculptural objects, often in glossy, solid-colored porcelain. Percy's designs became very popular and are still sought after by collectors today.
