Kjell Engman

Kjell Engman (born 1946-) is a Swedish glass artist who has worked at Kosta Boda for many years. He is known for his playful and colorful style, often inspired by music, dance and nature. Engman works a lot with storytelling in his glass and often creates series of works with common themes.

Among his best-known works are 'Guitar Men', a series of guitar-shaped figures, and 'Bellezza', a collection inspired by female forms. He has also created impressive light installations and large-scale artworks for public spaces. Engman's art is characterized by strong colours, soft forms and a sense of movement and life.
