Monica Bratt

Monica Bratt was a Swedish glass artist working at Reijmyre Glassworks from the 1930s to the 1950s. She is known for her artistic integrity and her ability to combine function with beauty in the form and color of glass.

Her work is characterized by deep, saturated colours such as cobalt blue, emerald green and ruby red, often in clean, simple forms without superfluous decoration. Bratt strove to bring out the natural luster of the glass, creating elegant vases, bowls and utility glasses with timeless character.
