Irma Yourstone (1914-1988) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer who worked at **Upsala-Ekeby** during the 1940s and 1950s. She mainly created decorative objects and utilitarian ceramics in a style characterized by elegant forms and hand-painted decoration.
Her works include vases, platters and bowls with stylized flowers, birds and geometric patterns, often in muted or earthy colours. She was one of the many skilled designers who contributed to the success of Upsala-Ekeby in the mid-20th century.
Today, Yourstone's ceramics are prized by collectors, especially her unique hand-decorated pieces that show both artistic skill and period design.
