Hilkka Liisa Ahola

Hilkka-Liisa Ahola (1920-2009) was a Finnish ceramicist and artist who worked at Arabia from 1943 to 1974. She trained in ceramics and porcelain painting under the guidance of Elsa Elenius. Ahola was known for her free and expressive brushstrokes, which are clearly visible in her works, which often feature bold patterns and vibrant colors.

Her production also included decorative bowls and vases with motifs of women and birds, often signed "HLA Arabia".
