Tobo keramik

Tobo Ceramics is best known for its stoneware production, which was run by potters Erich and Ingrid Triller between 1935 and 1973. Trained in Germany at Bauhaus-influenced schools, the Trillers brought with them a style characterized by simplicity, function and high craftsmanship. Their work, often in muted colours such as blue-grey and brown, was characterized by strong glazes and turned shapes. The production consisted of both art objects and utility items, and their ceramics have a high collector's value on the auction market today.
