Höganäs

Höganäs Keramik was founded in 1909 under the name Andersson & Johansson and became known for its household ceramics. The company had its big breakthrough after the H55 exhibition in 1955, where the *Old Höganäs* series was a great success. Over the years, several famous ceramists have been associated with the factory, including Signe Persson-Melin and Hertha Bengtsson.

During the 20th century, production focused on salt-glazed vessels, household products and art pottery, but in the 1970s and 80s, the brown Höganäs porcelain and their classic mugs became particularly popular. Today, Höganäs Keramik is part of the Fiskars Group and is sold under the Rörstrand brand
