Hjördis Oldfors

Hjördis Oldfors (1925–2013) was a Swedish ceramicist and designer, best known for her work at Uppsala-Ekeby during the 1950s and 60s. She created several notable series with modern designs, often characterized by sleek shapes, relief patterns, and bold glazes in vibrant colors. Some of her most famous series include "Domino," "Palett," and "Pärla," which have become highly sought-after collectibles. Oldfors played a significant role in Uppsala-Ekeby's success during this period and remains a respected ceramicist in Swedish design history.
