Berndt Friberg
In 1934, Bernt Friberg came to the Gustavsberg porcelain factory where he worked until his death in 1981. Friberg was widely renowned for his skill and received many awards for his work. He worked under Wilhelm Kåge and Stig Lindberg, among others, but also produced his own original works, which today command a high value among collectors. His ceramics were characterized by classic shapes and intricate glazes such as "hare fur" and "Aniara" Friberg also became known for his twisted miniatures, some only a few centimeters high.
