Ester Wallin

Ester Wallin (1908–1997) was a Swedish ceramic artist and designer associated with Upsala-Ekeby during the 20th century. She is primarily known for her artistic and decorative ceramics produced for the company. Wallin’s work is characterized by an elegant period style, with particular emphasis on glaze, color, and decoration. Her production includes vases, bowls, and other artistic ceramic pieces. Today, Ester Wallin’s Upsala-Ekeby ceramics are appreciated by collectors of Swedish ceramics and Scandinavian retro design.
