Inger Persson

Inger Persson (1936-2021) was a prominent ceramicist at Rörstrand, known for her playful forms and bold colors. She trained at Konstfack in Stockholm and worked at Rörstrand from the late 1950s to the early 1970s. Her most famous series include *Lunik*, *Atoll* and *Poppy*, where she often used strong color contrasts and geometric patterns.

During the 1980s, she developed a style with clear geometric elements and a distinctive color palette. She also created unique sculptural works, such as wall reliefs in the shape of birds. After her time at Rörstrand, she continued her career as a ceramicist and teacher at Helliden Folk High School in Tidaholm, where she inspired many young artists.
