Payment

We cooperate with the leading Nordic payment provider Worldline for your security. You can pay using United States dollar (USD). When using card, it will be charged immediately.

Custom Charges

We don’t add any Swedish VAT (Value-Added Tax) for your purchase. But you may encounter charges from your national customs. Most countries we send to have free trade agreement with Sweden.

Shipping

We ship with the Swedish Postal Service with tracking and insurance. Your purchase will be packed with care to ensure safe delivery.

The shipping cost depends on the number of objects in the order. You can see the cost in the checkout before ordering.

Non-Picked Up Packages

If you don’t pick up your package it will be returned to us. We will then refund your purchase but reduct our costs for the original shipping and return shipping.

Privacy Policy

In order to receive, handle and deliver your order, Scandinavian Retrodesign will process your personal information. All our processing of personal data is in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

Delivery and Condition Guarantees

In only a few cases every year, our packages get lost on their way. You will then be fully refunded after the estimated delivery time, which is stated at the check-out and in the order confirmation.

We aim to give a fair view of the objects’ condition in our texts and images. If we haven’t described the condition correctly, you will receive a reasonable partial refund.

Every consumer purchase made from Norway or Iceland is covered by a mandatory legal guarantee. The duration of this legal guarantee for new and second-hand goods is 3 years. The consumer must act within a reasonable period of noticing the defect but there is no specific deadline other than the legal prescription period of 3 years.

Returns

We accept returns for customers within the European Union. Due to high customs exam fees, we don’t accept returns from countries outside the European Union.

Photos

We carefully inspect every vintage object we sell and present each with individual high-quality photos from different angles. When it comes to new objects, we use our own sample images for most items in our store. Rest assured, however, that you will get a beautiful item that we have inspected and personally selected for you.

Some new items in our store have a great deal of variety in shape and décor. In these cases, we will take individual photos of every piece. The listing will mention that the photos are of the actual item you will get.
